If you're trying to purchase Credits from the in-game shop and get stuck on a "Please Wait" banner after clicking the Purchase button, it's likely due to the Steam Overlay being disabled.
How to Fix It
Wildgate uses the Steam Overlay to process in-game purchases. If it's turned off, the transaction window won't appear, and you'll get stuck at the “Please Wait” screen.
Step 1: Enable the Steam Overlay Globally
Open the Steam client.
Click on Steam in the top-left corner and select Settings.
Go to the In-Game section.
Make sure "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" is checked.
Step 2: Enable the Steam Overlay for Wildgate Specifically
In your Steam Library, right-click on Wildgate.
Select Properties.
Under the General tab, make sure "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" is checked.
Once both settings are enabled, restart Wildgate and try your purchase again.

If you continue to experience issues after enabling the Steam Overlay:
Restart Steam and Wildgate completely.
Check for pending Steam client updates.
Try running Steam as Administrator.
